Description

Gresham Hunt is working with a Telecommunications business who are looking to bring in a Financial Controller on a 3 month interim basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the business in the management of group financial accounts, managing a small team that is rapidly growing by acquisition

The duties of the role include:

Production of monthly management accounts and backing schedules in a timely manner
Lead and mentor team members that post daytoday accounts and credit control across the Group
Help manage compliance with Companies House and HMRC for tax, liaising with external advisors and accountants
Supporting in the preparation of the statutory accounts and liaising with auditors
Manage group cash flow
Ad hoc financial and nonfinancial projects with the Director of Finance and Operations

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

Accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA/ CIMA)
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Proficiency with Excel
Previous inhouse experience dealing with accounting software (Sage etc) desirable
Organised
Good analytical and multitasking skills
Proactive, gogetting attitude and hunger to develop
Good level of resilience
