On behalf of one of our schools in Rawtenstall (BB4), Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Primary School Intervention Teachers to deliver Year 6 numeracy and literacy tuition.

The placement school OFSTED rated 'Good' in all areas and is a warm and welcoming primary school in the heart of the community.

They promote a warm, happy environment that enables all children secure to help them strive towards their individual goals. Staffat this primary school are approachable and can communicate effectively and would work well alongside the appointed tutor.

About this role:

Responsibilities:

Planning and delivery of targeted interventions to address any gaps or missed learning
Communicate effectively with members of staff regarding pupil progress

Essential Requirements:

Sound knowledge of the primary Maths curriculum
Experience with delivery of numeracy teaching with a particular focus on arithmetic skills
Completion of mandatory tutoring modules, safeguarding and prevent training
Adaptive and flexible teaching style with the ability to meet the needs of all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
