As the world's leading illustrated non-fiction Publisher we are looking for a super creative,
talented Designer to join us as we evolve our DK Learning print and digital design.
The DK Learning team creates books and materials for the US, UK and International education markets. You will be passionate about design, and educational publishing.
Working in the editorial team and working closely with marketing this is a real opportunity for you to have your say and influence the styling of our brand and content.
About you:
-
You will be someone who can get stuck in from the get-go and can handle working to multiple deadlines.
-
Good knowledge of print and digital production processes to ensure files are set-up correctly for printing and archiving would be useful.
-
Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must as you work with colleagues and freelancers.
Some of your day-to-day will involve:
Assisting with concepts for new projects
Creating templates for online materials
-
Creating marketing materials, from print leaflets, promo videos, reels & more
-
Creating/Managing brand guidelines for DK learning and associated products
-
Hands on design of internals and covers of books
-
Briefing and commissioning freelance designers and illustrators
