Full-Time (36 hours) and Part-Time (18 hours) contracted 5.5 or 4 hours per week

About the Role


There are 12 public libraries in the borough, all of them providing a range of services that meet the needs of their local communities.

Library staff pride themselves on the high quality and welcoming service they are able to offer local people.


Administration Skills:

You will be responsible for all administrative tasks associated with the day-to-day functions of the libraries whilst prioritising a high workload and maintaining records.


Confidence- You can confidently deal with challenging situations in a calm and effective manner.


Organisation Skills:

You will shelve and tidy stock, promoting it and helping customers choose books and ensuring that our collections are ordered, well-presented and accessible.

We have full-time and part-time posts.

Full-time 36-hour posts working 4 days every week and every other Saturday.
