Job Title:
Sales Director UK & Ireland


Location:
Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire, UK


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build strategy for area of responsibility, define objectives and success roadmap for the team
  • Drive Sales & Project Pipeline
  • Identify new business opportunities and engage with clients on different levels of the organization
  • Maximize profitability and implement relevant pricing strategy
  • Ensure good sales and pricing practices, in line with corporate and division policies & guidelines
  • Motivate, coach, mentor and support the team in their account management role, both with clients and internally
  • Define learning needs, develop training programs for the team and monitor individual development
  • Recruit team members, onboard newcomers and define organization and roles
  • Manage and track Sales and LE performance as well as business vitality and profitability

We Value:


  • Your education, you will have a Bachelors or Master's degree or equivalent in a related field (business administration, economics, marketing)
  • Your experience, you will have 5+ years of flavour/fragrance/ingredient business experience.
  • Your mindset, you must have proactive growth mindset and a cando attitude
  • Business acumen, you will have good business understanding of both Firmenich and client businesses, a knowledge of the Account Management role and objective setting
  • Your interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to successfully develop client relationship and to position Firmenich as a key business partner
