Administrator


Test Equity UK are looking for a confident and enthusiastic team player with a passion for outstanding customer service to join our fast-paced Operations Department in the role of Administrator.


Based in St Asaph, North Wales, MCS Test are one of the leading Test & Measurement distributors in the UK and MCS Rentals has over 15 years' experience supplying Test and Measurement rental solutions.


Responsibilities include:


Quotations

  • Quoting customers using our CRM system.
  • Liaising with the external sales team, passing across customer leads.
  • Arranging shipping costs/lead times for Quotations.

Rental contract renewals

  • Running daily systemgenerated reports to find out which rental contracts are expiring.
  • Phoning customers regarding contract renewals
  • Actioning any renewals as necessary

Orders Processing

  • Processing rentals, calibrations and sales orders on the company's IT systems.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure accurate delivery dates are communicated.

Customer Relations

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers contacting the Operations Department
  • Updating customers with order status.
  • Communicating customer information to colleagues promptly and accurately.

Rental off-hires

  • Dealing with customer offhires in the rentals system.
  • Arranging collections through the courier I.T system for rental returns.

Rental calibrations

  • Dealing with calibrations in the rentals system
  • Liaising with customers regarding calibration returns/ unit swaps.

Assisting in the warehouse

  • To assist the Logistics Team during busy periods and staff absences in the packing, dispatch and receipt of goods in the warehouse.

Other duties

  • To assist the Operations Manager and other managers within Test Equity with any other duties as and when required, commensurate with grade and salary.

Communication and Interpersonal skills

1.1 Excellent verbal communication skills

We are looking for someone with a confident, polite and professional telephone manner as this role involves extensive contact with UK and international customers over the phone.

IT skills


We are looking for someone with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with good typing skills and proven experience of entering data into IT systems.

You must be able to work on your own initiative, dealing with all tasks from the daily task sheet and ensuring that they are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

We are looking for someone with the ability to prioritise their workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment.


5.
Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English, Grade A-C.


Desirable
An ability to understand and process highly technical information.

Touch typist

Experience of Microsoft office, in particular Excel.
