CMM Operator
An aluminium foundry and machinist is looking for a CMM Operator. The engineer/operator will report to Quality Director.

The Role

  • Carry out CMM checks on castings
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Knowledge of Mitutoyo M Cosmos software
  • Help out with daily quality tasks reject reduction
  • Support continual improvement activities through lessons learned
  • Help to ensure all aspects of customer quality are followed and delivered.
  • Experience of operating small and medium sizede CMM machines
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Machining background preferred
  • Able to carry out gauge R & R and MSA studies
  • Knowledge of programming and operating Mitutoyo CMM machines and software
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing sector
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-motivated, drive, enthusiasm, focus
  • Ability to make informed decisions and use initiative
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools
  • Driving licence
Wage £27.5k per annum.


Salary:
£27,500.00 per year
