Are you an experienced IT professional and looking for a new opportunity within the legal sector?


If so, we are looking for an experienced Network Manager to join one of our new Managed Service clients; a leading legal firm, with six offices across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.


The role


As a Network Manager, you will report into one of our Service Delivery Manager's and be responsible for the firm's IT operations including management and support of the firm's core IT infrastructure, services and data, engagement with key service stakeholders,and liaison with third party resolver groups.


Your responsibilities as a Network Manager will be:

  • To be accountable for the primary management and support of the firm's core IT infrastructure, services and data within defined contractual SLA's
  • Deliver high quality, reliable, secure and performant IT services to the firm
  • Manage an onsite IT Technician including coaching, mentoring, development, and all necessary HR processes and procedures (1to1's, annual appraisals etc)
  • Prioritise workloads to maintain service levels and service KPI's within a structured service framework.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, processes, procedures and best practice throughout the delivery of IT services
  • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly checks are completed, with outputs tracked and communicated effectively
  • Create, assess, and present relevant management information (MI) and reports that provide transparency, service insights and facilitate service improvement and investment planning
  • Work in close collaboration with different resolver groups, both internal and external, to achieve positive outcomes
  • Maintain and support information security standards aligned to ISO270001 and Cyber Essentials Plus and industry best practice
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills at all times

About you

  • You will have proven experience of leading and developing IT support services, demonstrating exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of working within a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous
  • This role requires line management of an onsite IT team; therefore, management\supervisory experience would be beneficial
  • You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and have the ability to create and present complex management reports to senior stakeholders
  • Desire to succeed and the ability to identify and correct problems effectively and quickly
  • Previous experience with cocreating an IT Strategy would also be advantageous
Involvement within customer facing hands-on support, maintenance and installation, ideally with exposure to the technologies listed below would be beneficial:
