Spinwell is recruiting for an Exchequer Services Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EXCHEQUER SERVICES OFFICER

To undertake specialist tasks in connection with creditor payments & the receipt of income, and to provide assistance regarding the pre-payment checking of invoices.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE EXCHEQUER SERVICES OFFICER

Ability to work accurately, with great attention to detail, especially in transactional maintenance & recordkeeping.
Working experience of financial accounting systems.
Operational history of adherence to boundaries of financial policies & procedures.
Adaptable oral & written communication skills.
Practical comprehension of HMRC Construction Scheme & VAT.
Capacity to work to tight deadlines, effectively prioritising own workload.
