Job Title:
Financial & Inventory Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial / Inventory
Administrator to join our team. As a Financial Inventory Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the financial and administrative tasks of the organization.
You will oversee financial and inventory operations, record-keeping, budget management, and other related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daytoday financial operations, including, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing.
- Monitor cash flow and manage budgets to ensure that funds are being used effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for monthly management reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports for tax, VAT filings and audits.
- Monitor debtors list and maintain updated statements for circulation.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate local supplier contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that they are maintained at optimal levels.
- Raise purchase orders for stock and manage order process including freight forwarders and third party logistic partners.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure that inventory is properly stored and organized.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Generate sales reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends.
- Identify slowmoving and excess inventory and develop strategies to reduce inventory levels.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory.
- Assist with the development and implementation of inventory policies and procedures.
- Communicate with sales and production teams to ensure that inventory levels meet demand.
- Provide support to the management team as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least 25 years of experience in financial administration or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of accounting software, such as Sage50, QuickBooks or SAP.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
