Middlemarsh (Nr. Sherborne)

Salary £24,000 to £27,000 (based on 40 hours and depending on experience)

Office hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:30 - Friday
Cahill have been trading for over 20 years and is still a family owned and run operation.

We supply and erect steel frame structures for many of the UKs leading principle contractors and work in all major construction sectors.


Due to continued expansion and increased workload, Cahill are looking for a contracts administration person, to assist the contracts management team.

Reporting directly to the contracts director and initially based at our offices in Middlemarsh (Nr Sherborne), with future relocation to Henstridge, the job will involve but not limited to the following:

  • Scheduling testing and inspections of site and workshop based equipment and tools.
  • General filing and electronic storage of drawings and contract documents.
  • Completion of information registers for incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Arranging for maintenance and repairs to company vehicles.
  • Arrange and carry our regular driving licence checks for drivers of company vehicles.
  • Use of web portals for document and information control.
  • Preparation and submission of Operations and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Answering phones and assisting the Cahill team with general queries
  • Submission of information for operative security checks (DBS, Baseline pass etc.).
  • Booking accommodation for site operatives
  • Checking of operative expense claims
  • Maintaining operative competency certification and training records.
  • Assist the contracts team with quality, environmental and safety audits (i.e. ISO, CHAS, FORS and the like).
  • Some PA tasks for the Managing and Contracts Directors.
