We are looking for an open, friendly & enthusiastic person to join our Day Service Team. You will be supporting a diverse range of individuals who each experience issues surrounding Mental Health.

Working across a range of mental health support functions, Senior Mental Health Support Workers provide short-term, intensive support to adult service users with mental health needs, enabling and empowering them to maximise their social, emotional, and physical independence in line with their individual care plan and the principles of mental health recovery.

This involves ensuring that individual care plans are outcome focused and implemented and reviewed in a timely way, communicating any changes to the relevant internal colleagues and external multi-agency partners.

Senior Mental Health Support Workers are required to work closely with individuals to develop onward pathways to appropriate services, community groups and third sector organisations to further enable independence and recovery.

The Adult Mental Health Prevention & Wellbeing Team is one of the leading specialist care providers in Cheshire West and Chester, working alongside a wide range of consultants, clinical experts and specialised agencies providing rehabilitation, treatment programmes, care planning, assessment, and long-term focus on recovery and overall wellbeing.

You will:

  • It is essential that you hold a Full UK driving license with Fully Comprehensive Insurance for Business Use.


The contractual work location for this role is listed above however you may be required to work from a range of work locations or sites within the Borough and may also be required to work from home, depending on the needs of the service.
