**Night Shift Site AgentLondon
Long Term contract opportunity
£ per night inside IR35
**My client has an opportunity for an ambitious and talented Night Shift Site Agent to work nights for a major project in the London area. This is a chance for an individual to join a progressive and ambitious company on a project.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure work is executed in a safe manner meeting legal guidelines set out in health safety and requirements and environmental compliance
- Day to day management of a section of works including the supervision and monitoring of the site team and supply chain
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
- Safety / Quality / Programme and Production
- Manage multiple packages of work in conjunction with the commercial team taking full ownership of the costs for section of work assigned
- Manage site activities to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
- Review Method Statements and Risk Assessments and make improvements as appropriate;
- Guide and coach subordinates in technical requirements and techniques of setting out;
- Deliver end product to customer satisfaction
- Implement appropriate policies and procedures
- Promote best practice amongst engineering staff and encourage their career progression
- Develop the directly employed labour including, supervision, appraisals, training, absence management and motivation
- Ensure works are completed on time, within budget and to specification
- Develop and promote best practice and business improvement within the organisation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previously worked on rail based projects is essential
- Previously worked on heavy civil based projects is essential
- Previously managed site teams & packages of work
- Strong knowledge and working experience with earthworks
- Previous experience working as a Site Agent or similar positions
- A confident individual who is passionate in their work
- Ensure compliance with designs
- Excellent communication, people and team management skills with the ability to motivate others to achieve high standards of compliance
- Good teamworking skills, particularly in relation to the delivery of multidisciplinary projects
- Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineering
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent CSCS card SMSTS card NEBOSH or IOSH
- Worked within the highways industry is a preference
