Housekeeper

Assistant to Housekeeping Supervisor during days off and annual leave a supplement will be paid when overseeing the department. Leadership skills and an eye for detail are a must. You will assist with managing linen levels, completing rotas and team training. Hours of work are between 8am and 4pm, weekends are required for this position.

Duties:

Clean and maintain assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathroom and common areas
Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
Changing linens and making beds
Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen surfaces
Emptying trash and recycling bins
Restocking supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor

Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items for extended periods of time
Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and team members
