Description

SCP UK Ltd are looking for motivated, hard working individuals to join a dedicated team of workers within the warehouse department based in Crawley.

Experience within a busy warehouse environment is essential.

Experience using counterbalance and/or articulated forklifts will be an advantage.

The warehouse positions available will include, but are not limited to the below responsibilities:

Support the Warehouse Manager in all aspects of the warehouse operation.
Assist in the general duties of the warehouse including picking, packing, dispatching and receiving goods in an accurate and timely manner using an RF scanner.
Accurately pick, pack and load goods for dispatch within the published cut off times. This will include daily delivery rounds, overnight dispatch by next day courier, picking and wrapping pallet sized orders and sending post/special post.
Load and unload delivery/collection vehicles.
Serve Trade Counter customers quickly and efficiently.
Run end of day manifests.
Receive goods in to stock and locate them correctly as per the locations set up on the system.
Unload containers efficiently and safely within the allocated timings.
Assist with daily warehouse maintenance. This includes cycle counts (zoned stock counting), bin maintenance, stock replenishment and cleaning/tidying.
Maintain a safe and tidy warehouse/yard and abide by all health and safety rules and regulations.

As is true for many companies, SCP UK Ltd have peak business months.

As such, the working hours vary between the winter and summer months.

April - September, Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 18:00

October - March, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30

A lunch break of 1 hour is given each day.
