Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer 2 Peer Project Outreach Worker to join the team in Medway.

You will use your experience in street-based or supported accommodation settings to take a dynamic role in supporting the Peer Mentors to deliver assertive outreach, and support the team in achieving their goals.

You will support access to treatment for those who misuse drugs and/or alcohol, and experience severe and multiple disadvantages. You will recruit peer mentors who have lived and have living experience within their networks.

You will use your knowledge and/or lived experience, to build trusting and supportive relationships with participants and carry out the responsibilities of the role.

The role will be tailored to specific needs as required, and will work as a vital part of the community, supporting with various outreach projects within the community, and alongside partner organisations.
