Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced 1-2-1 Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a cooperative academy based in the Redland/Cotham area of central Bristol.

This is a full-time position working with a little boy in Year One, starting after Easter until the end of the academic year.

The hours for this role are from 8:30am-3:30pm, and the pay is negotiable and dependent on experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant who is looking to make a difference in the life of a young learner.

We are looking for someone who is:

Compassionate and patient
Understanding and empathetic towards individual student needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members
Resourceful and creative in adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Organised and detailoriented with strong recordkeeping skills
Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards learning
Knowledge of current best practices for supporting students with special educational needs
Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and student needs
