The Role**:
Associate Director / Manager Financial Analysis

The Grade (relevant for internal applicants only): 12

The Location:
New York, NY (virtual or hybrid); Virtual Canada; or Virtual UK

The Team:
This role is a key member of the CI Finance team supporting the Tech, Data and Business Operations functions. The position will support the teams by assisting with financial & operational reporting, forecasting, and analysis. This positionhas three direct reports.

The Impact:

Primary focus will be on headcount reporting, business case development, project budget tracking, forecasting and general financial management of the Tech, Data and Business Operations functions.

This position will also assist with ad hocrequests and special projects across CI Finance groups to support the decision-making process.


Responsibilities:
Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the CI Finance team

  • Partnership with 3 OPCO leads
  • Provide data, analysis, and operational insights for monthly business reviews including preparation and presentation of CTO / CDO reporting package
  • Manage Cloud spend providing analysis and insight to assist Business decisions
  • Manage financial planning and analysis and accounting, including monthly estimate and workforce planning
  • Assist in the preparation of the multiyear budgets and related sensitivity modeling
  • Manage financial and operating metric tracking for key initiatives
  • Identify and track risks/opportunities on an ongoing basis
  • Provide financial analysis for business cases
  • Assist with ad hoc requests including special projects for CI senior finance leadership
  • Support overall function reporting requirements
  • Maintain existing group reports and assist with new development
  • Alert management to operational problems and suggest actionable solutions

What We're Looking For:

Characteristics important to this position: initiative, attention to detail, strategic thinking, independent judgment, strong communication and presentation skills, teamwork, and ability to understand complex business concepts.

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting

  • 5+ years financial analysis and accounting experience
  • Strong skills in MS Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookups, Modeling) and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP (Oracle Financials), Cognos TM1, Anaplan preferred
  • Solid analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a fully contributing member of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Data science / analytics (e.g. Alteryx) and Data Visualization (e.g. Tableau) a plus
  • Knowledge of capital expense planning and accounting a plus

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $97,200 to $175,650.

Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
