- Take ownership of Logistics UK's policy work in Northern Ireland, identifying key issues, shaping priorities and championing member interests
- Build expertise across all relevant topics, staying ahead of emerging trends and briefing colleagues to support alignment across the organisation
- Develop strong relationships with senior government officials and industry partners to shape thinking and influence decision making
- Create compelling policy proposals and positions that lead debate and reflect the needs and insights of our members
- Manage Logistics UK's Northern Ireland member meeting and other working groups, facilitating discussion, achieving consensus, and ensuring their views are powerfully represented
- Deliver high quality reports, consultation responses, briefings, and presentations for a wide range of audiences
- Present confidently at events, conferences and member meetings, communicating complex issues with clarity and impact
- Support the development of media messaging and contribute insights to our public affairs activity
- Provide expert policy support to colleagues across directorates, ensuring consistency of message and supporting wider organisational goals
- Play a key role in cross-functional projects and wider business initiatives
- Degree educated in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation and public speaking abilities
- Confidence to represent the organisation externally at senior levels
- A collaborative team player who contributes to broader policy, communications, and commercial objectives
- Understanding of how public policy is developed and how to influence it effectively
- Interest in logistics, transport, supply chains, or a willingness to develop your expertise
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly across Ireland and the UK
