We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.


Meet our service user


Our service user is a male in his late teens who lives with his family in Rochdale and requires support throughout the day to support his complex care needs on a 2:1 basis.

He is a very cheerful young man who loves to socialise and be out and about in the community. He enjoys attending hydro pool sessions, listening to all kinds of music, and having a dance in his wheelchair.

He loves exploring all sensory based activities and reacts well to positive praise and encouragement.


Your role throughout the day will be to provide support with his daily tasks including personal care, moving, and handling, being vigilant, making close observations, and attending to his clinical care needs when required.

You will be required to assist him with enjoying his hobbies, interests and accessing his social activities.


Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role as he is Non-Verbal and communicates through making noises, using gestures and facial expressions.

It is important you become familiar with his methods of communication to ensure his needs and wishes are met.


Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Learning disability experience
  • Cerebral Palsy Awareness
  • PEG feeding
  • Epilepsy Management
  • Oral Suctioning

We have the following shifts available;

  • Days
  • 34 shifts per week


  • Monday

  • Friday
  • 4:00pm8:00pm
  • Saturday & Sundays
  • 8:00am 8:00pm
  • Alternate Weekends are needed for this position

Take a look at our pay rates

Weekdays:
£11.25 per hour (£45.00 approx. per 4-hour shift)

Saturday & Sundays:
£12.00 per hour (£144.00 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Bank Holiday:
£15.00 per hour (£60.00 approx. per 4-hour shift)
