Description

My client is a leading technology lead Solutions provider, just outside the lovely town of Preston.

looking for an experienced
3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer responsbile for the implementation and maintenace of BAU systems as well as project delivery.

SKILLS

Strong experience on the management of Windows (Windows 10,
Windows Server 2019) environments
Strong experience on the management of Virtualisation (
Hyper-V, VMware) environments
Thorough understanding of Microsoft O
ffice 365 administration products
Thorough understanding of
Active Directory:
Experience in
PowerShell:
Good understanding of network concepts including LAN, MPLS, VPNs and routing
Knowledge of SCCM or alternative deployment tools
Manage competing priorities effectively ensuring that all relevant parties are informed of project status/changes

Additional skills sets would also be Dell EMC
Isilion, X3
Synology NAS, Dell
Compellent SAN, Dell network infrastructure - 10GB line into production site, 2 core 100GB top
rack switches down to 7 client switches (3 10GB, 4 1GB),
Sophos XG550 Firewall,
X3 UPS
