Our client are seeking to employ a capable
Estimatorto join their existing team.

This company are a professional and high performing company producing the finest bespoke leisure facilities for private homes & businesses UK-wide, using thebest materials.

They are based near Manchester.


The Estimator role will include estimating, putting together costs, technical evaluation, providing documentation for tenders, liaising with contractors, managing the commercial aspect of the project through to completion.


This is a great opportunity for an Estimator seeking progression opportunities and to learn new responsibilities as our client are a company who encourage staff to 'wear many different hats' to fulfil their potential.

Estimator - Position Overview

  • Preparation of detailed cost plans / budget guidance for client presentation and review
  • Thorough examination of quotes, checking every element of the scope / brief is accounted for within the pricing
Within good time and with agreement with the Director, training will provided to be responsible for:

  • Project costing
  • Internal project management
  • Project health & safety control
  • Direct day to day liaison with the purchasing dept
  • Additional responsibilities to be discussed at interview stage

Estimator - Position Requirements

  • A strong awareness of the balance of risk and profit is essential
  • Good commercial understanding of the market and market values
  • Experienced negotiator
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook
  • Good all round communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks in line with deadlines

Estimator - Position Remuneration

  • Salary between £30,000 and £35,000
  • 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Quarterly and Annual bonus structure
  • Potential for Hybrid work
