MLC Partners are delighted to be partnering with the historic King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust on the recruitment of two key hires within their ICT teams as the department goes through an exciting transformational period.

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for someone with a drive for making a difference in the challenging world of cyber security to come and join their ICT Security Team.

Duties:

Act as one of the Trust's representatives for the Cyber Associates Network, engaging in current and emerging work programmes related to NHS Digital offerings
Ensure ongoing consideration of obligations under the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR in addition to the objectives of the Networks and Information Systems Regulations
Hold responsiblity for operating and monitoring specific core ICT Security/Cyber Security systems and their related activity in order to ensure the security function operates in a proactive manner to enforce and deliver ICT policy, procedures and processes
Identify security or process violations, report as appropriate, and put forward areas for security improvement
Contribute to ICT Security/Cyber Security training/staff awareness material and delivering training as and when requested by the ICT Security Manager

Essential Criteria:

An IT security qualification such as CISM, CISSP, CISMP
Knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance and standards e.g. Network and Information Systems (NIS) Regulations, Cyber Essentials Plus, NCSC 10 Steps to Cyber Security, ISO27001
