Castlefield Recruitment are delighted to partnering with Golden Lane Housing (GLH) to recruit a Finance Business Partner. GLH works with people with a learning disability to provide supported housing around which they can build their lives.

Role:


As a Finance Business Partner you will provide great customer care in supporting key business areas, working across the wider teams and responding to new pressures as they arise.


Duties will include;

  • Managing relationships across teams including development, Maintenance, HR, IT and legal
  • Ensuring good financial management and enhancing value for money for the work of the Teams, audit of the sound procurement of the contracts managed by the Teams
  • Monitoring relevant budgets, providing reports for Operational Managers along with sound advice and support to keep these on track
  • Adept at analysing and improving business cases in line with Value for Money and Housing policy
  • Maintaining the rent model and understand changes abreast and be able to model and explain the financial impact of new business opportunities
  • Taking the lead to ensure that the rent model is accurate and up to date working with other FBP to get updates on maintenance and housing costs drivers
  • Accurately reporting through NROSH (Regulator of Social Housing)
  • Signing off on all the new schemes (Leases and Purchases) to ensure integrity of the modelling and compliance to the Golden Rules set by the NBC
  • Developing the Financial Systems to support an ongoing programme of reporting improvements (Unit 4)
**Person:

The successful Finance Business Partner:
**- CCAB or CIMA

  • Experience within social housing would be beneficial
  • You must have the ability to collate and analyse information from a wide variety of sources
  • Demonstrable understanding of the principles of managing charity money
