Description

The National Health Service Blood and Transplant Tissue Services are an integral part of the NHS. Our Tissue Donation Programme saves and radically improves hundreds of lives every year. You will be willing to work towards the Level 4 Healthcare Science Associate apprenticeship with Healthcare Science Diploma.

If you do not hold GCSEs at C and above for maths and English, you must be willing to work towards the Functional Skills qualifications.

Please be aware this role will involve retrieval of multiple tissues from newly deceased donors to help save the lives of others.

You will start work with NHSBT as a Tissue Retrieval Apprentice (Annex % of Band 4 and will then progress to Senior Tissue Retrieval Apprentice (Annex 21 75% Band 4)) after one year in post.
