Dorset HealthCare are looking for a motivated Team Administrator to join the Homeless Health Service and Assertive Outreach Team


As an administrator you will enjoy a varied role to provide a flexible, comprehensive, effective, and confidential administrative/secretarial support service to the Homeless Health Service and Assertive Outreach Team.

You will be able to work accurately under pressure, have excellent communication skills, telephone manner, IT skills and be able to take minutes from meetings as required.


You will be joining a supportive and diverse team who work with very complex patients in the community, and Statutory and Third Sector agencies.

The Homeless Health Service and Assertive Outreach Team have expanded in staff numbers, to include a Consultant Psychiatrist, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse's, Social Workers, and Support Workers.


The Team Administrator is a full-time post based at Hahnemann House Bournemouth, working Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9-5pm.

You may be required to work flexibly moving across the locality to meet the needs of the service. We could be flexible as long as the services needs are met.

The main responsibilities of the administrator role will include typing of medical letters, appointment letters, assessment letters, reports and service user summaries when required by members of the team.

You will be required to maintain and update the clinical and medical staff electronic diaries, arranging meetings and appointments as requested.


As an administrator you will provide an efficient and effective reception service on behalf of the teams to patients, carers and others who access the service and be able to remain calm and courteous, especially if a patient or carer is distressed.

You will work independently, seeking advice and support, when necessary, from the Team Leader/Service Lead.
