Stores Operative, Sittingbourne, ME10

  • Stores Operative Jobs, Stores person Jobs, Logistics Operatives Jobs, Stock Controller Jobs, or Technical Administrator Jobs.
  • 39 hours per week.
7:30 - 16:00 Mon-Thus; 7:30 - 15:00 Fri with 30 min unpaid lunch; 15 min paid tea break.

  • Salary £24,000 £26,000 commensurate with experience.

This Stores Operative job will involve:

  • Receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials and supplies.
  • Packing goods for despatch and loading vehicles for delivery.
  • Control of stock levels.
  • Implement and maintain Kanban / ERP systems for consumables, tooling, and packaging.
  • Backup van driving for client deliveries and occasional tasks as and when needed.

Your background as a Stores Operative:

  • A Stores Operative, Stores Person, Logistics Operative, Stock Controller or Technical Administrator who is accustomed to managing inventory and working with data / values.
  • Experience working with goods in & out and good organisational skills in order to keep high quality standards and an accurate report on inventory.
  • You must have reasonable IT skills and be used to goods inwards in a store environment.
  • Comfortable with Excel / Kanban / EPR systems. Admin will be a large part of this role, along with the wider handson duties when it comes to overseeing the Goods in process.
