Our amazing #TeamVictoria in Dundee are looking for a friendly, caring and dedicated new colleague on a permanent basis.


The Role


You'll become part of a fun, friendly team who supports nine individuals with various learning disabilities to maintain their tenancies in their own flats.

which are all located in the same complex. There's never a dull moment, every day is different


As a Support Practitioner, you'll support with all aspects of daily living, including meal preparation, housework, medication, finances and appointments.

With all of the individuals enjoying getting out and about in their local communities, you'll also find yourself getting involved in things like swimming, taking part in walking groups, day trips, city breaks, arts & crafts, animals, football and cooking to name a few.


About You


At Cornerstone, we don't recruit on experience and qualifications; we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need.

We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too


All we'll need you to bring is: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude and approach
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns


As we're dedicated to providing the best care and support possible, shift patterns will involve working early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, public holidays and weekends on a rotational basis.


The sleepover part of your shift is not included in your contracted hours and you will receive a payment of
£87 for every sleepover worked.
