Job Title:


Administrative Assistant

Purpose
The holder of this post provides Company-wide administrative support mainly focused on Human Resources, Purchase Ledger and QHSE departments.


Requirements:


Education:
HNC/HND would be preferable but not essential

Other:
Experience in office or administrative position would be ideal. Personable, friendly and professional with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication and time management skills, self-starter, ability to work with mínimal supervision individually or part of a team and experience working with sensitive information.

Experience working with MS Office.


Core Responsibilities and Key Tasks

  • Answers incoming calls and directs to appropriate company contacts.
  • Human resources: posts vacancy adverts, with support prepares employment contracts and letters / communications to staff.
  • Updates employee HR records.
  • Monitors and orders office supplies.
  • Liaises with suppliers to arrange for site visit dates and works, as per department manager needs.
  • Arranges for travel.
  • Updates Company documentation.
  • Signs in visitors.
  • Administrative support to management as and when required.
  • Be aware of and adhere to requirements of the company's policies, objectives and systems relating to Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and working knowledge of relevant software tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Basic Training
IT - Microsoft office competency

HR - familiar with current HR legislation and GDPR requirements


Reporting
The holder of this position reports to: Commercial Operations Manager

Other staff reporting to this position: None


Salary:
Up to £22,000.00 per year
