Our Team:


The Yours Commercial Department is a dynamic team responsible for driving revenue across the magazine through several initiatives, including Reader travel, Reader offers and the Reader events, leveraging the Yours brand and values to drive customer interaction whilst ensuring quality, value and a profitable return.

We are a small team with a strong team ethic, and we are looking for you to bring energy and enthusiasm to the role


The focus of your role:


Within the role you will be asked to service and grow revenue from existing Enterprise partners and identify and onboard new partners.

Day to day, you will be required to ensure good relationships are maintained with all partners,

clients and suppliers.

Your primary brief will be to identify growth opportunities, understand partners' objectives and propose cross-platform campaigns which deliver year-on-year revenue growth from all partners.


To achieve this, you will need to be able to create compelling sales decks and arguments and ensure campaigns are delivered and managed effectively.

Monitoring of partner revenue performance and identifying opportunities for growth is also essential. The role requires regular travel to attend Yours Live events and client meetings.

You will be working closely with enterprise colleagues and editorial, digital and insight teams, creating and submitting pitches. Strong communication skills are vital, as is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a matrix team.

Attention and accuracy are essential to effective delivery.

The role will enable you to develop a wide range of transferable skills and provide an opportunity to develop and widen your sales skills and your account management and strategy skill set.


Role Responsibility:

Liaising with our partners and working across Yours Enterprise initiatives is central to the role.

As a Senior Commercial Assistant, you'll be a crucial part of developing our business, attracting new partners for print and digital, and developing our existing partner portfolio.


You'll be responsible for:

  • Building trusting relationships with new and existing partners
  • Identify and develop new revenue opportunities to attract new partners
  • Monitoring and forecasting revenue from your client base
  • Working as part of a team to drive strong revenue growth through new ideas and initiatives for Yours Enterprise partners across print and digital, including emarketing, social and the Yours website.
  • Working closely with colleagues in Enterprise, editorial and partners to spot opportunities for development.
You will assist us in managing and developing new and existing partners, focusing on delivering new revenue growth.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be dedicated, prepared to work hard and show a positive attitude towards challenges.
