    Job Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Southampton. This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their requirements and produce tailored quotations and orders.
    • Collaborate closely with colleagues to stay up-to-date on product design and manufacturing processes.
    • Pursue sales opportunities, reacting promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Provide proactive account management for distributors, ensuring they are informed at every stage of the sales process.
    • Liaise effectively with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

    Key Requirements

    • Proven experience in technical sales, including knowledge of quotations, technical specifications, and orders.
    • Strong understanding of construction and engineering projects.
    • Familiarity with pipes, valves, pumps, and other related equipment is highly desirable.
    • A recognized qualification in engineering or a related field (HNC/HND/BTEC/NVQ/Degree).
    • An enthusiasm for long-term career development and growth within our organization.
    • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM database systems is advantageous.
