Our client is a well-known building society with headquarters in Swindon; As one of the largest savings and mortgage providers in the UK, 15 million members are at the heart of everything they do.


On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for an
Operational Support Officer for a
6-month contract based
remotely (with occasional presence in Swindon).


Purpose of the Role:


As an Operational Support Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing a reliable and robust service to support the effective running of the delivery team.
  • Assuring and leading a range of services to ensure the effective running of the endtoend product lifecycle.
  • Assuring and driving efficiencies in the endtoend process.
  • Providing insight and analysis to deliver great value.
  • Ensuring the governance and respective controls are adhered to by the Delivery teams as efficiently as possible.
  • Collaboratively working across the teams / leadership to proactively remove blockers, either by holding the relevant conversations with appropriate SMEs or escalating in a timely manner.
  • Experience with working in a PMO setting preferably in financial services.
  • Experience of using Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience of managing RAID.
  • Experience of managing Change Requests.
  • Experience in dependency management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of working with Agile and Waterfall planning methodologies.
  • Scaled Agile Framework certified (desirable).
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment (desirable).
