Graphics and Marketing Assistant

The Company:

We are the UK 's fastest growing supplier of branded team wear and accessories supplying brands such as Nike, adidas and Puma sportswear to sports teams, schools, colleges and Universities throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the World.

We are looking for a Graphics and Marketing Assistant to join our expanding marketing team in our Birmingham office. This is an in-house, office-based role, initially on a 3-month contract, but a genuine opportunity to progress to permanent.

Job purpose:

To assist and support the Marketing team in planning, developing and implementing effective Company marketing communication campaigns, utilising the full portfolio of the Company's marketing platforms and media.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

With the rest of the Marketing Communications team act as a brand guardian in terms of look and feel of online communications as well as tone of voice of copy, ensuring the company delivers a representation of its major sports brand partners, including Nike and adidas.
Work with the Marketing team on a set brief for video projects, assisting with initial concept and planning right through to the filming and editing of the videos
Update the various online website and platforms operated by the company
Activate and provide input on the Company's marketing campaign calendar
Develop and broaden the Company's social media network, developing new ways to engage and interact via intuitive and up to date design methods.
Keeping up to date with changes and advances in social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt.
Monitoring social media for Company mentions and engaging with customers where relevant.
Supporting the improvements to the Company's numerous website platforms, to drive conversions, improve customer interaction and ensure consistency in line with marketing campaigns.
Monitor the Company's key competitors across various channels and report back with key findings and changes within the marketplace.

Required Skills:

Previous artwork/graphics experience, using Adobe Suite software (portfolio required)
Must be able to use Adobe Illustrator (essential)
Previous videography experience would be ideal but not essential
Previous experience working with Social Media
Ability to produce written content to a high standard
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Passionate about football
A desire to learn and develop skills

Salary:
£18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
