We are working with a client who are leading consultants in AI, Machine Learning and Data Analytics.
As an AWS Premier Services Partner, they help data-rich businesses discover valuable insights that enable data-driven decision making.
They are looking to bring in an AWS Cloud Security Architect to aid with architecting and designing cloud-native solutions and serverless architectures.
They need someone to provide security solution architecture and consultancy services to enable and support the delivery of a wide variety of internal and customer-facing projects.
Security Architecture:
- Extensive understanding of cloud, networking, and integration technologies, with an accent on AWS
- Deep understanding of the AWS Security and Reliability pillars from the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Strong understanding of attack types, approaches, and associated mitigation
- Solid understanding of identity & access management, cryptography, and log management strategies
- Strong understanding of data governance and data loss prevention standards, compliance, and design
- Capability to document, architect, and defend technical choices
- Solid understanding of common compliance and best practice standards such as GDPR, ISO27001, NIST, CIS, and OWASP
- Some CI/CD and coding experience (preferable)
- Strong customerfacing experience in consultancy
Solutions Architecture:
- Proven AWS design, implementation, and support experience
- Excellent document production skills design documents and architecture diagrams
- Ability to present work directly to clients
- Strong Agile experience.
- Indepth knowledge in:
- AWS network services (AWS VPC, Subnetting, Security Groups, and Routing)
- AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, and ElastiCache)
- AWS serverless services (Lambda, API GW, SNS, SQS, and Dynamo DB)
- Ability to create highquality Cloud Formation or Terraform scripts, proven ability to use the AWS CL and GIT/SVN.
- Strong Unix and Bash knowledge.
- AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification and /or at least 3 years' experience in AWS.
