Locit is a new and exciting business specialising in the manufacture and supply of a wide range of B2B steel storage solutions.
Our team of staff have been assembled from leading figures in our field and we are now looking for exceptional support staff eager to join our fast-growing business.
The role will involve:
- Maintaining the Company's purchasing and stock management systems, identifying stock discrepancies and maintaining accurate records
- Coding and processing purchase invoices in SAGE, ensuring compliance with the Company's purchasing guidelines
- Performing monthend supplier statement reconciliations
- Raising & issuing of sales invoices
- Credit control
- Maintaining the aged debtors & aged creditors ledgers
- Liaising with sales, administrative & operational employees to query and resolve discrepancies
- Preparation of the weekly payroll
- Posting of bank receipts & payments and reconciliation of the Company's bank accounts
- Generating weekly payment runs for payments to both suppliers and employees
- Processing of employee expense claims in line with the Company's expense policy
- Assisting the Finance Team with monthend and other adhoc duties
The Accounts Assistant will possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience of SAGE is preferable
- Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Works well under own initiative and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels across the Company
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
Up to £25,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
