Cloud Pre-Sales Consultant

£60,000 - £65,000 (OTE £110k) + car allowance + benefits

Reading, Berkshire (Remote Based)


We are looking for Cloud Pre-Sales Consultant to join one of Europe's leading providers of IT Security, Networking and Systems Infrastructure Solutions to the Public, Private and Enterprise market space.

Established in the 90's, our client has forged closebusiness partnerships with top IT manufacturers such as IBM, HP, Cisco and Microsoft.


The successful Cloud Pre-Sales Consultant will have worked in an overlay/presales role and will be experienced in developing public, private and hybrid cloud-based solutions to customers in the enterprise market space.

Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azureand edge to cloud computing is essential, along with exceptional technical-to-business communication skills.


As a Cloud Presales Consultant, you will support the customer base with their cloud migration journey, by analysing their business requirements and crafting technical cloud solutions to meet their needs.

You will work in conjunction with other departmentswithin the business to deliver-end to-end solutions and will work alongside a sales team to close business deals.

This role is not new business focused, but will be customer facing; so, this is a perfect role if you are looking to take charge of the solutiondelivery process.


The successful Cloud Pre-Sales Consultant will possess:

  • Public orprivate sector Cloud solution design/sales experience (Azure, AWS)
  • Able demonstrate configuring and scaling cloud solutions (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS)
  • Able to gather information and requirements for large enterprise projects
  • Experience in working for a VAR or MSP is preferable
  • A good understanding of IT Services (Network, Hardware, Security, Migration & Back up Technology)
  • TOGAR (or similar) framework experience
  • Excellent presenting and client facing skills
  • Good commercial acumen
In return, a competitive starting salary is on offer, up to £65,000 base with an OTE of £110,000, along with a very attractive benefits package and ongoing career development opportunities
