Training and Development Manager
Our client is a well-established and modern Legal 500 Hampshire based law firm.
They service both business and corporate areas of law.


Key responsibilities include:


Devising and delivering bespoke training / learning and development plans and ensuring those plans are delivered for / with each employee.

Collaborate with the Heads of Departments and each employee to ensure effective training and development for each employee of the Firm and the effectiveness of the Firm's continuing performance review process;
Manage, lead and drive the Firm's training and development and specialism programme;
Report on improvements across the Firm and assist with identifying opportunities for further improvement, development and specialisation
Prepare and deliver specific training programmes on generic service topics.

Work with identifying and managing relationships with specific training providers across areas of development for the Firm and in terms of improving the lawyers specialist knowledge and skills.

Preparing and mapping areas for improvement and development across each aspect of the Firm's practice and operations.
Attend events, training fairs and other activities to identify and source potential opportunities for new training and development.
Play an active part in planning and mapping talent improvements throughout the organisation to assist and support people retention.
This is a fixed term 12-month contract, on a maternity cover basis.
