Exciting Nottingham College looking to add to their Organisational Development Team as we embark on delivering some new and exciting things linked to our new Corporate and People Strategy.

You will join us and support the delivery of the OD agenda for the College delivering on the people strategy alongside the wider people team.

You will support and deliver all aspects of the OD lifecycle, diagnose, problem solve, design, develop, deliver and embed development interventions across the College.


Senior Organisational Development Practitioner Responsibilities:

Organisational Development - Leadership

  • Build, support and develop leadership capability at every level though the development and implementation of highquality interventions and programmes
  • Identity issues, gaps to review and consider how best to solve these with proactive leading innovations and interventions to secure a change in behaviour
  • Work with senior leaders, HRBPs to identify issues, problems, with leadership, culture, team and recommend interventions to develop leaders at all levels of the College
Organisational Development - Team Development

  • Analyse, evaluate the impact of a range of team development and engagement solutions tailored to build incapability driving enhanced performance and retaining talent across the organisation
  • Design, develop and deliver team events and away days as needed
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from across the college to undertake a strategic needs analysis to identify the staff development priorities to inform the colleges development plan and programmes
Organisational Development - Performance

  • Analyse and research exciting new ways to drive organisational change into the heart of highperformance teams
  • Design, develop and deliver talent development programmes at all levels
  • Ensure leaders have the knowledge and understanding to build high performance teams
  • Support the development of interventions that secure the right behaviours and culture across the College
  • Ensure there are the correct programmes to development skills, knowledge and qualifications
Learning Culture

  • Design develop and support a move to a continuous improvement methodology, across all teams
  • Ensure leaders have a coaching qualification
  • Support the design and develop a coaching and mentoring framework for the college
Colleague Engagement

  • Support the design and delivery of colleague engagement strategy across the College
  • Work with HRBPs to deliver a framework for engagement
  • Manage the annual and pulse engagement surveys
Culture

  • Support the design, develop an embed leadership and college competencies across the College
  • Design interventions to ensure the competencies are truly integrated in all aspects of the College
General

  • Act as an internal consultant to advise senior leadership teams on team engagement in collaboration with the HR business partners
  • Have a detailed understanding of current and future thinking in the OD arena providing insight and recommendations to senior people please ship team
  • Take a strategic overall of all activity and interventions to ensure they are consistent and impactful
  • Coach and support the HR business partners developing their knowledge of effective OD practices

Senior Organisational Development Practitioner Requirements:

Essential

  • CIPD Qualified
  • Experienced OD practitioner
  • Hold a qualification in psychometrics and other learning approaches
  • Experience of delivering numerous projects on time and within budget
  • OD Business Partner experience, supporting and owning large projects
  • Significant knowledge of experience of change management
  • The ability to project manage
  • Ability and evidence to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proficient at process mapping
  • Proven experience of working in a similar role, experience of both delivery and development team building interventions at a variety of levels
  • Proven experience of designing and delivering frameworks for learning interventions that demonstrate a change in behaviour and an improvement in performance
  • Strong track record of leading a learning and development team / service
  • Proven experience of designing delivering and evaluating training to a high standard
  • Strong track record as a trusted advisor on leadership talent
  • Design methodology and string rack record in designing and building scalable leadership solutions that drive an uplift in capability
Desirable

  • Continuous Improvement Level qualifications
  • Coaching qualification
  • Experience of some continuous improvement methodology
