Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Science Technician to work in a secondary school in Leicester City.

This is a full time role to start after the Easter break, 5 days per week role (term-time only) into the end of the academic year.

In this role, the successful Science Technician will be supporting the Science Department across KS3 and KS4.

You will be working closely with the Head of Department and Senior Technician to ensure a seamless running of the Science laboratories, providingtechnical support to teaching staff and students.


Duties will include preparing for practical tasks, laboratory and equipment maintenance for Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE, managing stock levels and ensuring COSHH and Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times.

A degree is science is essential for this role. Previous school experience will be very useful.

This secondary school was rated Good in its most recent Ofsted. The school is located in Leicester with excellent facilities.
