Fantastic opportunity for a French speaking Teaching Assistant to join a well-established community languages department in a 11-18 Secondary School in Lambeth, South London.

This role is to start at immediately as a long term role for the rest of the academicyear.

This job would suit a French national looking to gain experience in the British Education System and could also be an exciting role for a Languages Graduate now looking for a long term education opportunity with a view to advancing into a career in teaching.

As a French Teaching Assistant you will be line managed by the Head of Community Languages at the school.

The school has a high proportion of French nationals attending the school, your role will involve in class support with 11-16 year olds who have Englishas a second language (EAL).

This is an excellent opportunity for a French speaker to join a thriving secondary school with a good track record of supporting teachers to develop.

Applicants should be confident in speaking and writing French and will be required at times do some small group interventions as well as 1:1 support in and outside the classroom.
