Detailed Job Description:

This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual who is keen to make their mark in an organisation that is committed to the continued development of its people.

This role will primarily provide remote support from the Service Desk but as the role develops could also encompass onsite support work.

As a hands-on technical engineer, you will provide a robust incident management response service to customers.

Working proactivelyto maximise system availability, you will support and maintain customers' core IT systems, frequently working in collaboration with IT partners.

As an Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities will include:

Answering the phone and providing excellent customer service and care in a professional and effective manner
Providing remote support, advice and guidance to the customer
Fault diagnosis and diagnosis of security issues
Working with hardware
Software installation
PC builds, reconfiguration and rebuilds including: account setup, identifying and fixing issues
Application support in bespoke software
