Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Estimator with experience of structural steelwork to join a small but very successful and well-established steelwork fabrication company based in South Wales, nr Bridgend.

On offer is a very good starting salary, ongoing career potential, a friendly and supportive working environment and the possibility of some hybrid working if needed.

Estimator duties include:

Receiving enquires and reviewing drawings and specs.
Work on projects which include new and refurb work ranging from support frames to mezzanine floors to steel framed building (portal frames and stick and beam).
Carrying out material take offs and assigning times/costs for the full scope of work.
Liaise internally and externally if needed to ensure accurate pricing.
Price up variations.

Estimator requirements:

Proven experience working as an Estimator is essential.
Experience working on varied structural steel is advantageous.
Have excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Ideally live in/within a commutable distance of the office hybrid/remote work may be offered to those with exceptional and relevant experience.
