Zero hours contract - 2 x Bank Catering Team Members

An opportunity has arisen to work with the DSFS catering team located within Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

The role will allow the individual to be flexible in the hours they work with shifts available from 6am until 8pm, Monday to Sunday, within various outlets located throughout the Trust.


The main duties of the role will be serving customers, stock re-filling, kitchen duties, cleaning and a small amount of cooking.

Pay enhancements of 40% for any hours worked after 8pm and before 6am Monday to Friday and hours worked on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.


NEST pension scheme -upon joining you can choose whether to pay 5% or 8% and DSFS will match whichever you choose.


To provide an efficient and friendly service within our catering/retail outlets to a range of customers whilst ensuring queuing levels are kept to a minimum.


  • To have flexibility in the role, and have flare and passion to provide first class customer service within our catering/retail outlets.
  • To be familiar with menus in our catering outlets and shop merchandise so that relevant offers and deals can be suggested to customers.
  • To accept payment from customers including operating a till.
  • To ensure the highest level of customer care is adhered to at all times.
  • Demonstrate a cando attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations.
