Description

We are hiring on behalf of Dover Fueling Solutions.
Assembly Operators required for ongoing temporary contracts with a reputable manufacturer in Dundee.

Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience within a manufacturing environment, with good dexterity, communication and team working skills.

Personal Attributes

A selfstarter requiring minimum supervision.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
A team player adapting him/herself to supporting many teams and projects.
Must be committed to do the required effort to improve performance.
Can work with Engineers and project leaders on a technical level.
A very good work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
-
Fault Diagnostic - must be able to diagnose and repair both hydraulic and electrical faults on dispensers.
-
Support - support for Team Leaders, Trainers and operatives when problems arise regarding dispenser configuration and wiring configuration.

Testing - knowledge of testing dispensers and advising test operatives with any difficult hydraulic/ electrical test operations.

Schematics:

- ability to understand electronic/ hydraulic schematics and must be able to understand wiring drawings.

Wet Testing - will competently test dispensers when required.

WWC Set UP / Comms Testing / Wiring / Calculator Assembly / General Assembly - can competently work on all the job functions detailed when required.

Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
Cultural awareness.
Open minded and calm under pressure.

General Responsibilities

Test Bay Maintenance

The upkeep of minor test bay maintenance will be required.

Production Cell Support

A willingness to train in other departments, for future support when and if required.

Methods

Maintain the appropriate methods within the production department on all electrical and electronic dispenser functions.
Any other work or responsibility deemed necessary generated by the Electronic Technician or Production Manager.

Shift working is Mandatory and a shift premium will be added

£20,319.00 per year
