As a social media manager, POST- Recruitment seeks a team player who will manage an organisation's online presence by developing a strategy, producing engaging content, analysing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing the company's projectsand campaigns.


Responsibilities:


  • Strong knowledge of developing creative and engaging social media strategies and managing the daytoday handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube, adapting content to suit differentchannels.
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools like Hootsuite.
  • You will be expected to develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote your organisation and brand.
  • Ability to form critical relationships with relevant influencers across social media platforms.
  • Monitor, track, analyse and report using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights to review performance on social media platforms.
  • Keeping up with the latest trends and techniques, analysing competitor activity, and recommending improvements to increase performance to keep the page relevant and active.
  • Setting and reaching targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement.
  • You will be responsible for managing, motivating and coaching junior staff, such as social media executives or assistants.
  • Understanding of budget control.
  • Being a mentor to others in the company to educate staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company (inhouse roles) will encourage collaboration across teams and departments

Requirements:


  • Interested in the lifestyle, food and beverage industry
  • 23 years experience in a similar role
  • Good design skills, with a good understanding of typography, intuitive layouts, and palate development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with social media platforms
  • Team player who can quickly adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Good level of skill in Photoshop, Canva or other relevant design tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to lead and manage others, crossdepartmental at times
  • Detail oriented
