The Menu Partners is a diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs and restaurants up and down the UK with whole, prepared or cooked food.
Within our group of businesses, we also have Absolute Taste, a leading event catering company, Absolute Taste Inflight our Private Jet catering business along with two farm shops, a pub and so much more.

Role Overview
You will be responsible and accountable for managing the Transport operation.
You will ensure Health and Safety; EU Driving Regulations and all legislative and operational procedures are adhered to and Partners are treated fairly and with respect.
You will be answerable to the Director of Logistics.Who are we?
The Menu Partners is a new business venture between two major food providers.
We will act as both the food sourcing procurement and distribution partners to hotels, pubs, restaurants along with provision of hospitality, throughout the UK and beyond.
This new partnership with several restaurant chains on board will be the preferred third-party logistics provider in the UK to facilitate all frozen, chilled and ambient food deliveries on our new fleet of vehicles.
Ensuring all Legal, Maintenance, EU Driving Regulations and Operational procedures are always adhered to, ensuring the safety of self and others.
To maximise productivity and manage resource in order to improve costs.
Effectively communicating operational and business plans and changes to all colleagues, supporting the implementation of the communications plan set by the Directors.
Performance Management of all colleagues within the team to ensure the achievement of operational targets.To coach, support and develop the colleagues and Management team to enhance job satisfaction and to fulfil their potential and help advancement.
Promote The Menu Partners values, vision and drive.To ensure information is recorded accurately on all Transport and Personnel Management Systems.
What will you bring?
National & International CPC
Excellent Transport knowledge of current EU and Working Time regulations
Experience of working in a management role in a Transport
Experience of dealing with full disciplinary procedures
Leads by example and enjoys working within a team
Confident communicator
Demonstrable experience of leading and developing a team
Strong organisational and planning skills
IT and numeracy skills
Able to manage change
