My client based in a South West London College is currently seeking an experienced Learning Development Adviser to both guide and support students with Special Educational Needs.

This role will involve completing detailed reports on the students progression,,we are seeking someone with a good administrative capabilities.

The function of this role is to support SEN students of varying statements through the academic, personal and behavioural elements of their educational life.

The tasks of a Learning Development Adviser will fluctuate, however typical responsibilities will include:

Supporting an student on a 1:1 basis.
Providing targeted support
Work on differentiated activities with groups of students
Liaise with the inclusion manager to deliver SEN provision
Developing social/emotional skills (depending on individual need)
Accompanying students to relevant therapy sessions (depending on individual need)
Writing detailed reports with an ability to present to senior staff

We are looking for someone who has proven skills of working with and supporting students, an ability to establish positive relationships.

Support the student with making rapid progress. Promote positive behaviour in line with college policies and help keepthe student on task. You must be able to interact with students of all levels and participate in planning and evaluation of learning. We are seeking someone who is able to provide written and detailed feedback on progression. Is this you?
