First and foremost, Didsbury House Hotel and Eleven Didsbury Park are beautiful boutique hotels situated in Manchester's cosmopolitan Didsbury area.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, stands a boutique like no other, rich in history with carefully selected furnishings and décor.

Didsbury House Hotel provides the perfect venue for a range of exclusive events such as weddings, Summer BBQ's, client entertainment dinners, afternoon teas and family celebrations.

With its well-appointed Blue Lounge, Boardroom, and the Den which exudes character and warmth and a total of 27 bedrooms and suites offering comfort and style.

Just a short walk away is Eleven Didsbury Park, a 20 bedroom Victorian home from home with a picture-perfect walled garden and covered terrace.

Both hotels provide an idyllic haven where you can enjoy spending time with loved ones.


Positions:

What we are looking for?

  • A minimum of two years previous experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • A plumbing/electrical background is desirable as well as previous general building experience; Specialist certification will be an advantage
  • Self motivated, ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Resilience and drive to get things right the first time
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Confident and professional approach
  • Full clean driving license

Responsibilities included:


  • To ensure the structure, fabric and services of the hotels are maintained to a high standard.
  • To perform and/or arrange property maintenance functions to ensure repairs requested are carried out promptly.
  • Interact with reception and housekeeping team on the daily basis to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Conduct daily maintenance duties including plumbing, lighting, joinery and masonry, etc. Part of the role will be conducting refurbishment work to the property, which includes plastering and painting
  • To comply with Company Health & Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures
  • To undertake any other reasonable task/request by Management
The position is for up to 42 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7. You will be required to work a flexible shift pattern which includes weekends and bank holidays.

£28,000.00 per year
