What will you do in the role of Human Resources Business Partner?

In this role youll work closely with the Head of and other members of the team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to the business.

Youll take the lead on ER cases and provide comprehensive advice and support to employees and managers in line withemployment law and best practice.

Youll take a proactive approach and always look for opportunities for the business function to add value to the business, empower our people managers, and cultivate a brilliant employee experience.

Generalist Advice
Support, challenge, coach and upskill managers in all Employee Relations matters, from early intervention to formal cases, including performance management, probation reviews, absence management, maternity/paternity, wellbeing, investigations, disciplinaries,grievances and redundancies and advice on all other policies
Manage complex employee relations casework
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation
Increase the capability of managers to improve overall performance through provision of expert advice and support
Support the Head of in providing a proactive, responsive and professional HR service and in driving alignment between HR strategy and business goals.
Deputise for the Head of in their absence.
Support Head of with key initiatives, using data to identify areas for improvement and create action plans, to positively influence people KPIs, for example new starter reviews and exit interview data
Mentor and coach team members with lower risk ER matters, ensuring employment law and company policy are adhered to.
Play an active role in ad hoc projects
Preparation / presenting HR updates at Senior Management and Regional

What skills do you need to be a Human Resources Business Partner?

Strong generalist background with strong Employee Relations skills
Demonstrable experience and confidence in managing difficult and complex ER situations
A confident communicator with the ability to take lead in the role and work closely with stakeholders at all levels
Passionate about creating a peopledriven culture and empowering people knowledge
Collaborative team player with a passion to share knowledge and mentor team members
Can prioritise, plan and organise effectively, with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work independently to get things done
Able to demonstrate the ability to drive continuous improvement
Possesses a proactive and positive approach to their work. Holds professionalism, integrity and respect as key values
CIPD Level 5 or above

What will you LOVE about being a HR Business Partner?

Salary up to GBP40,000 dependant on experience
Working hours Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day flexible start time from 8am 10am

Hybrid 1 day a week work from home
