DIAM is a world leader in the POS, display, merchandising and brand retail services sectors. We create, develop and install Retail & Merchandising solutions to enhance the consumer's experience in points of sale.


We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and highly approachable health and safety support officer at our site in Loughborough.

This is a fast-paced working environment within a well-established multi-national company.


Reporting to the H&S Manager the role will include but not be limited to the following duties:

  • Completing and updating risk assessments, managing COSHH paperwork, updating policies and procedures, safety notices, inspection reports and stock management of PPE.
  • Liaising and communicating with various areas of the business using interpersonal skills demonstrating diplomacy and approachability.
  • Having a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Administration of company training records and training refresher dates.
  • Maintaining and improving on a positive health and safety culture, developing employee's relationship with the health and safety processes and policies.
  • Planning and coordinating safety events, toolbox talks, introduction training and health and safety meeting minutes.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to quickly identify any errors or issues within the health and safety management system with the understanding how to promptly rectify these.
  • Competent in Maths and English, computer literate and a good understanding of Microsoft office packages.
  • Practical experience within a manufacturing setting with the willingness to continuously learn, keep up to date with new regulations and procedures.
  • Have a positive cando attitude and a tenacious approach any task.
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
Salary is negotiable depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
